What is your oddest Hollywood experience?

Please share your oddest Hollywood experience with us.  Post it as a comment and I will select a few of the best ones and post them on the blog.

One night I was walking along the walk of fame when I saw a man discreetly painting over one of the stars.  The next day there was a new star in its place.  That's how things work in Hollywood I suppose.

David Letterman

Word on the street is that David Letterman is a control freak who forces his guests to do as he says, smiles and then give them "the talk" backstage.  It's all fun and games to you, eh Dave?  Never again...

Andy Kaufman is back?

I wish it were so...

There was a party held on the 24th in honor of Andy's birthday.  It was rumored (and hoped) that Andy would return.  And now it is rumored that he has.

The following blog suggests that it is so:

But last time I saw Andy it was not a time for the laughs and jokes that suit him so well.  No.  He was dying.  He tried to remain the same old Andy, but as much as it pains me to admit this, he is gone.

But his spirit, it is very much alive.  Blogs like the above, press stunts and other pranks keep his spirit going.  Who knows, perhaps another 20 or even 40 years from now, "Andy" will be still blogging away.

The Hollywood Oracle Speaks Out

I am the Hollywood Oracle, the ultimate Godfather of Hollywood.  In this family, we take care of each other.  (Unless, of course, you land in rehab - in which case you are beyond saving.)

But before stories get public, before your embarrassed mug graces page six  -  you have a chance to save yourself.  All you have to do is consult with the Oracle.  All you need to do is post your dilemma, anonymously - and you will receive advice better than any manager, publicist or even shrink can offer - because you will be getting advice from someone who has been there and survived.

So if you are a member of the Hollywood family business, post your questions here and the Hollywood Oracle will answer.

Anything Hollywood related goes.  Got a movie deal you are considering?  Your screenplay is getting too many revisions?  Life is too tough?  Blackmail?  Can't deal with the media/public attention?  Talk to the Hollywood Oracle.
